Purgatory

In paradisum deducant te angeli,
      in tuo adventu suscipiant te martyres, et perducant te in civitatem sanctam Ierusalem.
    
 Chorus angelorum te suscipiat,
      et cum Lazaro quondam paupere
      aeternam habeas requiem.

May the Angels lead you into paradise; may the martyrs greet you at your arrival and lead you into the holy city, Jerusalem.

May the choir of Angels greet you and like Lazarus, who once was a poor man, may you have eternal rest.


Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine,
et lux perperua luceat eis.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.

Et fidelium animae per misericordiam Dei requiescant in pace.
Amen.

And may the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the most Precious Blood of Thy divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, those in my own home and within my family.  Amen

Deliver Them from Purgatory

My Jesus, by the sorrows Thou didst suffer in Thine agony in the Garden, in Thy scourging and crowning with thorns, on the way to Calvary, in Thy crucifixion and death, have mercy on the souls in purgatory, and especially on those that are most forsaken; do Thou deliver them from the terrible torments they endure; call them and admit them to Thy most sweet embrace in paradise. Amen.
